Sunset Island Indoor Pool & Sauna

Sunset Island's world class indoor pool is open year round, as is its sauna.  Weather permitting, Sunset Island's outdoor pool is open Memorial Day through September.

Sunset Island is proud to provide its guests with access to our private health club located adjacent to the pool and beach on the island's southwest corner.  Stop by and see the state of the art cardiovascular and exercise equipment.

Beach & Boardwalk

Ocean City, Maryland's Boardwalk dates back to 1902 and is recognized as one of the best Boardwalk's in the country. Golfing

Come experience year round golfing in Ocean City, home to nationally recognized, world-class courses. With over 11 championship courses, there is something for everyone, including four and five day programs held every June and July at the River Run Junior Golf Camp or Eagles Landing Golf Camp.  Also enjoy the traditional Bay Club and Beach Club -- and try the Bay Club's new East Course.

Nature & Horses! For nature lovers, please don't miss nearby Assateague Island - a natural treasure of barrier island life featuring Assateague's famous wild ponies wandering the beaches and trails of the island! Tennis

Sunset Island Rentals is proud to offer free access to Ocean City’s premier tennis club: Ocean City Tennis Center - 410.524.8337

Sunset Island VIP’s will be offered free court time at the 61st Street tennis facility. You may play as often as you wish, free of charge. Priority 8-day, in-advance booking ensures you will always get your preferred court time.

A free can of tennis balls awaits you at the center, as well as an available USPTA certified teaching pro, all just six blocks from your Sunset Island Rentals beach home.

A Summer of Tennis:

• Women's Doubles - Every Tuesday and Friday morning from 9-11 AM through August.  No partner needed to sign up.  Just call the Pro-Shop and let them know if you would like to play.

• Adult Tennis Camps - Back for a second year, Keith Coleman is offering weekly adult tennis camps through August.  Experience a quality tennis camp right here at the beach!  These weekly day camps are designed for all skill levels.

• Pee Wee & Junior Tennis Camps - Sunset Island juniors can attend one of the Eastern Shore's premier tennis camps through August.  Various programs are designed for kids ages 4 through 16. 

• Tournaments and evening activities are planned throughout the summer.

Fishing

Fishing.  Ocean City is known as the "White Marlin Capital of the World" with good reason. Spring, summer, and fall present plentiful fishing opportunities. Don't miss the White Marlin Open, the world's largest billfish tournament. Make plans to attend the Ocean City Tuna Tournament. Try your skills at offshore fishing for marlin, tuna, Wahoo, dolphin, and shark, or cast a line from the beach or one of the many fishing piers - or Sunset Island's own private fishing pier. Ocean City also hosts the Mid-Atlantic Surf Fishing Tournament.
